Welcome to Western Harnett High School! We are focused on creating the best educational learning environment for our students! This is my 26th year in education and 17th year with Harnett County Schools. I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Social Work before earning my Masters Degree from Campbell University in Education. I spent 12 years as a classroom teacher before serving as Assistant Principal in Harnett County for five years. I was Principal at Buies Creek Elementary for two years and Highland Middle School for six years. I enjoy working closely with staff, students, parents, and community members to make our school the best place to be. I am a widow and have four children of my own, all graduates or students of Harnett County Schools. I encourage communication between home and school and always want to hear your input on how we can improve and continue to grow as a school!
